Big energy.

Historic vibes. Unforgettable nights.

Every great event needs a home that inspires, a space with a story written into the very walls. Welcome to Dunkirk’s Glass House.

Our story begins in 1903, at the height of the Indiana gas boom, when the Stewart Brothers laid the foundation for a magnificent brick mercantile building right in the heart of downtown Dunkirk. For over a century, this structure stood as a testament to Midwest industriousness, community grit, and classic architectural craftsmanship.

Fast forward to today: we have breathed new life into this local landmark, beautifully marrying its rugged, historic soul with breathtaking modern luxury. By framing the building's timeless brickwork with a towering, soaring glass storefront façade, we created a venue where raw history meets radiant elegance. We didn't just build an event space—we preserved a piece of Indiana heritage and elevated it for your life's greatest milestones.

Two Distinct Experiences, One Historic Venue

Our venue is uniquely designed to offer two completely contrasting aesthetics, giving you the ultimate turn-key canvas under a single roof.

First, there is The 1903 Room. Capable of hosting grand celebrations for up to 1,000 guests, this expansive hall is flooded with natural light by day and glows with warmth by night, all thanks to our signature storefront glass. It is a striking, unforgettable backdrop for grand weddings, massive community galas, and regional milestone corporate events.

Tucked away within the venue is our second hidden gem: The Speak Easy. Holding up to 200 guests, this intimate bar room completely shifts the mood. Surrounded by historic brick architecture, it is a low-lit, exclusive lounge designed for smaller, punchier crowds. Whether it is acting as the perfect cocktail hour holding zone during a seamless wedding room flip, or hosting a standalone corporate happy hour, private milestone birthday, or upscale rehearsal dinner, The Speak Easy offers an unforgettable vintage vibe.

Live Concerts at Glass House

When the sun goes down, Dunkirk’s Glass House transforms from a breathtaking event space into the region's premier live entertainment hub. Our unique architecture provides a concert experience unlike any other in East Central Indiana. With the historic 1903 brickwork setting the stage and the towering glass storefront reflecting the pulse of the crowd, every show feels exclusive, intimate, and visually spectacular.

Our dual-room layout allows us to host an incredibly diverse lineup of live music. The 1903 Room, with its massive 1,000-guest capacity, serves as our main concert hall, delivering a festival-energy experience with plenty of room for an expansive stage, high-end sound production, and an open dance floor. Meanwhile, our 200-capacity bar area, The Speak Easy, offers a completely different vibe, playing host to acoustic sets, intimate jazz nights, and local singer-songwriter showcases beneath low lights and timeless brick architecture.

Whether you are traveling from down the road in Muncie or making the drive from Fort Wayne, Glass House is your destination for great music, unforgettable energy, and a vibrant nightlife scene right on Main Street. Keep an eye on our events calendar, grab a drink at the bar, and come experience live music where history meets the beat.
